Eligibility & process

Who can get BAMS admission in 2026?

The rules are the same for government, management and NRI seats. Here is what you need, in plain words.

NEET is mandatory for every BAMS seat

You must qualify NEET-UG for BAMS admission, including management and NRI quota seats. There is no admission without NEET.

CategoryMinimum NEET percentile
General (UR)50th percentile
General – PwD45th percentile
OBC / SC / ST (incl. PwD)40th percentile

These are the standard NEET-UG qualifying percentiles. NCISM can lower them for AYUSH courses in some years; we will tell you the current rule when we call. You also need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
